It's an interesting comparison: Dive Classic with storied history and an Italian microbrand. I get they are both dive watches but 2 different classes for sure . Side Note: Olviya looks like she would wear a dive watch and look amazing wearing it

The Doxa doesn’t have an ETA 2824. They stopped using that movement in the 300T several years ago. It has the sellita sw200. Seems like you should know this…

Interesting comparison. I absolutely love the Vulcain. For me this is the perfect reintroduction of their original design. The Rado is lovely too, I’m just a sucker for more nostalgic pieces.

Problem with Doxa's heritage is that's TOO present. It's like the watch is wearing you. Or it's so much a dive watch that to wear one without being a diver is being a poser.

I have been to Krons a couple of times, but I now see that I absolutely have to visit Fredmans as well. I had no idea that you carry such a wide selection! Oh, one thing: The Instagram link on your main UA-cam page is broken. Just wanted to let you know.

Fun video! Both are great watches but don’t think I agree that the powermatic is a better movement than the 2824, or even a great movement. It has some issues including some plastic. UA-cam is full of watchmakers lamenting how ETA has somehow sold us on plastic with the promise of 80hr power reserve. And it doesn’t make sense to me that Rado would put the powermatic in a watch that starts at $2300.

It depends if you are trying maximize the grey market value of the watch, you maybe able to get a little more for the watch but servicing a luxury watch could be easily $500 or even over a thousand depending on the condition and movement. I agree with the lady in the video

I always sell common watches myself, but my rare pieces go to auction with a reserve. If you are really smart, you wait untill the market changes tastes.
